Courtney Southard was a Daedalus Designer and Research Specialist, who joined the firm in 2010. She graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a degree in Industrial Design and a minor in Psychology.

Prior to joining Daedalus, Courtney previously worked with SonicRim, a research firm in Columbus, Ohio.

Her passion for user-centered design led to her focus on design research. In addition to her minor in Psychology, she has training in human factors and statistics, enhancing Daedalus’ multi-disciplinary approach to understanding the user.
